Welcome!

Technology courses at Dayspring Academy will cover a wide range of concepts, including digital arts, sound and film, Microsoft Office applications, and computer basics infused with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) curriculum.

The inaugural ninth grade class, along with all eighth grade students, will prepare for and take industry certification exams in Visual Communications using Adobe Photoshop as part of the Innovations in Technology course.  Participation in the co-curricular national organization of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) will be part of the ninth grade experience.

Sound and Film students will embark on a journey of learning behind the scenes skills needed to enhance school productions, sound mixing techniques and radio broadcasting skills, eventually leading to the recording and running of the 92.7 "The Loop" Dayspring radio station.

Computer 101, mostly comprised of sixth grade students, will include preparation for Microsoft Office Certification, java and html basics, and instruction in creating and printing 3D images.
